Early concept drawings for Black Amber

I love the way Bats create their world through acoustics adding the perceptual layers and moving through a world of darkness in their soundscape. I have connected with the Energy of Bats more than what I could find out.

I sensed I wanted to make a very powerful looking Bat totem but with a sense of love and benevolence to highlight how crucial they are to biodiversity in the UK but obviously around the world too.
